No Shots - No School
For school year 2011-2012, all students entering, advancing, or transferring into 7th or 8th grades will need proof of an adolescent tetanus, diptheria and whooping cough booster immunization (called “Tdap”) before entry into school in the fall.
1) Tdap vaccine is a booster shot to protect adolescents and adults against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (whooping cough). The name Tdap stands for:
T Tetanus toxoid
d reduced diphtheria toxoid
ap acellular pertussis vaccine
