Graves Middle School Community,
It is with great pride that I introduce myself as the new Principal at Graves Middle School. As a member of our community and an educator in Whittier since 1999, I am eager and excited to begin this school year. In addition to my teaching and administrative career, I have also been a sports coach at the middle and high school level and I am still involved in various youth sports organizations in the area.
Although our schools have recently had the most unprecedented school year, we are looking forward to seeing our students and welcoming them to Graves. Our staff works hard to ensure our Graves Panthers have a safe learning environment, maintain high standards and foster positive relationships with and for our students. I highly encourage our parents and community members to get involved here at Graves in any capacity. It is in being involved that our students get the most out of their education.
Middle school has a unique excitement and energy that, together with the work our staff does, allows our students to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Here at Graves we are not only preparing our students for high
school, but also to be leaders in our community. Please do not hesitate to contact our school for any questions or concerns. And if you’d like to stop by for a visit, feel free to make an appointment so I can let you see what I see here at Graves.
Graves Middle School is my community, it is your community, but more importantly, it is our kids’ community. And I am here to serve!
