🐾 Back to School Night — Wednesday, August 26

Dear GMS Families and Students,

We look forward to welcoming you to Back to School Night this Wednesday, August 26! This is an opportunity to meet your child's teachers, learn about each class, and understand how we can work together to support student success.

📍 5:30 PM — Annual Title I Meeting | Field House
All families are invited to learn about our schoolwide Title I program, student progress, GMS priorities, resources, and opportunities for family involvement.

🏫 6:00–7:00 PM — Classroom Visits
Families will follow their student's schedule beginning with Period 1 promptly at 6:00 PM. Each classroom visit is 7 minutes, followed by a 3-minute passing period.

Before Wednesday: Please have your child complete the attached schedule with your teacher's name, room, and subject for Periods 1–6. A campus map is included to help families navigate GMS. Please arrive early to allow time for parking and check-in.

Panther Time/Homeroom will not be visited during Back to School Night. However, Panther Time/Homeroom remains an important part of the school day, providing students with support in school culture, organization, and the skills and preparation needed to succeed in middle school.

We hope to see our Panther families on Wednesday evening. Together, we support student success! 🐾
