🏆 GMS Earns California PBIS Gold Recognition! 🐾

Greetings Panther Families,

We are excited to share some great news—Richard L. Graves Middle School has been recognized by California PBIS at the GOLD level for 2026! With nearly 2,700 schools applying for recognition statewide, this is an accomplishment our entire Panther community can celebrate.

This recognition reflects the work happening every day to create a school where students feel connected, supported, and ready to learn. From explicitly teaching and practicing expectations, to recognizing positive behavior, building relationships, and providing additional support when students need it—PBIS is a collective effort.

A huge THANK YOU to our students, staff, families, and community partners. Everyone plays a role in creating the culture we want at GMS. We are proud of the progress being made and even more excited about where we are headed. There are great things happening at Graves, and this recognition is another example of what our Panthers can accomplish together.
