Today students completed their notes on Cross Sections.  Students also completed pages 247-250 in class today.  This is due tomorrow.  Tomorrow students will also be taking their mini quiz on Cross Sections.  This is a 25 point quiz.  

Students developed questions and a summary for their notes on scale drawings.  Students got their scale drawing mini quizzes back and we went over the answers in class.  Students also worked on Khan Academy in the computer lab today.  No homework tonight.

Today, students corrected page 223.  Then students took the Module #7 Test.  This test is worth 100 points.  Students also turned in their Module #7 Test Packet worth 50 points.  The packet list was attached to yesterday's post.

 

Today was advisory.  Students will bring home their advisory cards with all of their current grades in all of their classes.  Please review the advisory card, sign it an send it back with the student on Monday.

Today students completed the assigned problems on pages 184 and 189.  This will be turned in with their packet on Tuesday.

 

Homework today is page 195 #6-#30.  This is due on Monday.

 

Students also worked on Khan Academy.  They should be on skill #85 and working towards skill #90.

Happy New Year!  Welcome back!  Today students worked on Khan Academy in the computer lab.  They should be on skill 85.  Students corrected their packets from the Friday before the break.  They also took notes on solving one-step equations.  No homework today.

Students wrote questions and summaries for their notes on Simplifying Algebraic Expressions.

 

We also went over the answers to the Mini Quiz

 

Students received their grade sheets today that lists any missing assignments they have.  All make up work is due the Wednesday after we return from break.

 

Students can also do error analysis on the questions they got incorrect on their tests/quizzes.  This will raise their test/quiz scores.  These are also due the Wednesday we return from break.

We finished going over all the work from Simplifying Algebraic Expressions.

Students took a mini quiz on this topic and turned in their packet which consisted of 

1)  Simplifying Algebraic Expressions Worksheet

2)  The Distributive Property and Factoring Worksheet

3) Pages 176 and 177

 

Students also went to the computer lab and worked on Khan Academy

Today students worked on the Distributive Property and Factoring Worksheet.  They also worked on Pages 176-177 #3-#12.  The worksheet should be complete, but we are not quite finished with the pages from the book.  We will finish that tomorrow.   

 

Tomorrow they will be taking the Simplifying Algebraic Expressions Mini Quiz and turning in their work packet.   

Today students created questions and wrote a summary about their notes on Finding the Percent of a Number.  We went over yesterday's quiz then the students took notes on Percent Increase and Percent Decrease. 

 

Homework:  Page 144 due Monday.
