PROJECT- BIOGRAPHY

You will be given a person from US History from 1800-1850, other students will get different people. Each of these people has given us something important to history. You will be making a MINI-BOOKLET about them. WHAT TO DO- Find information about your person- Organize your information into theme chapters-Find pictures (minimum 1 of the person on the cover)-Create a front cover- needs person’s name, your name and picture of the person-Create a table of contents- list of pages with what is on each page-Create a bibliography- list of where you got your information (book title, internet website, etc)-Create a back cover- this needs your name, some information about you (the author) and even a picture of you-See back for samples on how to set up your biography.

POINT BREAKDOWN

To use already made template (for you to just type in your information), go to school website, download ‘book template.’     When you type in something don’t forget to delete the space afterwards (remember to keep the page number and title in the same spot). When you print it out, order your printer to print page 1, then flip it over and print page 2, print 3, flip then print 4, print 5 then flip to print 6. The use the small page numbers to fold your book together and staple.

Organization/Visual- is there a picture on the cover, are there chapters and are they organized, page requirements filled, Bibliography page, back cover, etc (40 points). Remember points will be taken off for late projects so turn yours in on time. This project is 100 points
